Builders & LabourersConnect

Terms of Use

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Builders & Labourers Connect. By creating an account you agree to them. The platform is currently in beta: features may change, and we may make mistakes while we improve it.

What we do (and don't do)

  • We provide an online space where construction businesses and workers can find and contact each other.
  • We are not an employer, labour-hire company or recruitment agency. Any work arrangement is made directly between the business and the worker.
  • The business and worker are responsible for agreeing on pay, employment or contractor status, tax, super, insurance, workers compensation, site inductions and work health and safety obligations.
  • Tickets and licences shown on profiles are self-declared unless marked “Verified”. Businesses must sight and check tickets before work starts.

Your account

  • You must be 16 or older and give accurate information.
  • Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • One person or business per account. Don't impersonate anyone else.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • post false, misleading, discriminatory or unlawful job ads or profiles;
  • offer pay or conditions below Australian legal minimums (including the relevant award);
  • harass, threaten or spam other users;
  • use the platform to collect people's details for other purposes;
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the site.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Fees

The platform is free during beta. We'll give you notice before introducing any paid features.

Liability

We provide the platform “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for the conduct of users, the quality or outcome of any work, or losses arising from arrangements made between users. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
